Chairside Composite Veneers: A Hands-on Experience

Chairside composite veneers are gaining in popularity. Patients are seeking non-invasive options for improving their smiles. This course presents a step by step protocol for creating beautiful chairside composite veneers.

Course Objectives:
  • Use a waxup to create a putty template for composite chairside veneers
  • Learn to create gingival margins that yield healthy soft tissues with the use of a mylar matrix
  • Learn to develop facial anatomy
  • Develop an armamentarium to finish and polish composites

Meet the Instructor

Dr. Priya Tirumalasetty

Dr. Priya Tirumalasetty (or Dr. Setty) is a 1997 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Setty completed a General Practice Residency after graduating from dental school at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. Following residency in 1998, Dr. Setty moved to Chicago to begin private practice. In 2000, she established her own dental practice in the Chicago loop.

Dr. Setty became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005, and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2023. This required over 1,000 hours of continuing dental education.

In 2014, she published an article about composite bonding in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, the scientific journal published by the AACD. In 2018, Dr. Setty became an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). The AACD has established a rigorous accreditation protocol to recognize dentists who strive to achieve excellence and practice ‘responsible esthetics’ in cosmetic dentistry procedures.

In 2023, Dr. Setty completed the required courses to become a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center and also became a member of the Catapult Education Speakers Group.
