Direct composite restorations offer many advantages for patients and are an excellent choice for many indications. They can be less invasive than indirect restorations, applied quickly, very versatile, and aesthetic. Direct composite also presents challenges for many clinicians. Attaining a restoration that seamlessly blends and restores anatomy and function is now easier than ever.

In this video you will see how to master starburst bevel and simple layering for invisible class 3, 4 and 5. A new composite with simplified shade options and optimized polishing will be utilized.

Susan McMahon DMD, AAACD, FAGD

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. McMahon leads the largest cosmetic dental practice in Western Pennsylvania. She is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an invited Fellow of the prestigious American Society for Dental Aesthetics and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

 A clinician, author and educator and internationally recognized KOL, Dr. McMahon has devoted her professional career to the pursuit of advanced technologies in cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry. She frequently lectures across the United States and abroad on minimally invasive dentistry, technology and conservative, undetectable cosmetic dentistry.
