Course Description
This course explores evidence-based homecare strategies for managing acute and chronic oral inflammation, xerostomia (dry mouth), dentinal sensitivity, and demineralization. Participants will examine the biological mechanisms underlying these conditions and review approaches that support long-term oral health outside the operatory.
Attendees will also learn practical strategies for simplifying case presentation and patient communication to improve patient understanding, engagement, and treatment acceptance.

- Differentiate between acute and chronic oral inflammatory conditions and identify appropriate homecare strategies for each
- Explain the mechanisms of action of hydroxyapatite, hydroxyapatite precursor compounds, and bioavailable ions in supporting remineralization
