- Describe nitric oxide (NO), its pathways of production, and its role in normal physiological function
- Explain how metabolites and ecological niches contribute to the development and function of the oral microbiome
- Describe the role of nitrate-reducing oral bacteria in supporting nitric oxide production
- Implement clinical protocols that support nitric oxide production and commensal oral bacterial communities during patient care
