Course contents
Meet the Instructors
Dr. Chad Duplantis
received his D.D.S. degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 1999. He then continued with Post doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2000. He is an Academy of General Dentistry Fellow, a member of Catapult Education Speakers Bureau and has been a member of several Aesthetic and Restorative Continuums, most recently the Seattle Study Club.
He has been in private practice since 2000, working in the North Fort Worth, Texas area treating all ages with an emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Duplantis has always had an interest in “high-tech” dentistry and has been incorporating CAD/CAM technology in his practice since 2004. Formerly a CEREC user, he is now a user of the Glidewell.io chairside system.
Dr. Duplantis has published numerous articles on digital dentistry and consulted with various manufacturers on a multitude of projects and evaluations regarding different aspects of clinical dentistry. In addition to technology, Dr. Duplantis has a keen interest in adhesion and materials.
Dr. Susan McMahon
is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and has the largest cosmetic dental practice in Western Pennsylvania. She is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a fellow in the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics, and a fellow in the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
An author and lecturer, Dr. McMahon has devoted her professional career to the pursuit of advanced technologies in cosmetic dentistry and smile design. She is a past clinical instructor in Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and a guest lecturer at the University of West Virginia, School of Dentistry.
She also lectures in both the United States and Europe on cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening. A seven-time award winner in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Annual Smile Gallery, Dr. McMahon has twice been awarded gold medals. Additionally, Dr. McMahon has developed and licensed an esthetic dental media marketing and practice branding program.
Dr. Lou Graham
is an internationally recognized lecturer extensively involved in continuing education for dental professionals. His lectures focus on incorporating current clinical advancements through “conservative dentistry.”
He emphasizes the same concepts he practices; dental health diagnosis, treatment plans for medically compromised patients, conservative treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and customized approaches to periodontal care, implants and laser dentistry.
Dr. Graham is the founder of the Catapult Group, a continuing education company whose philosophy and programs use contemporary, interactive formats to integrate time-proven conservative dentistry with 21st century materials and techniques. Dr. Graham is a published author in many leading national and international dental journals.
