About the Course

Course Description

In today's digital landscape, marketing has undergone a significant transformation due to consumers' changing behaviors. Modern customers are more likely to engage in thorough research before choosing a service provider. With technology providing them with a plethora of options, the decision to select your business over competitors relies heavily on making informed decisions and effectively communicating your message where your target audience will be most receptive.

While certain foundational marketing principles like the importance of first impressions, word-of-mouth recommendations, and establishing a unique brand identity or differentiation remain unchanged over time, their significance is perceived differently by consumers today. We consider these principles crucial in shaping modern marketing practices. The keys to success in today's marketing landscape lie in being visible, distinctive, and appealing enough to be chosen by potential clients.

In the digital age, effective marketing goes beyond simple promotion. It entails creating a memorable impression, fostering positive buzz about your business, and highlighting what sets you apart from the competition. By incorporating these strategies into your marketing approach, you can navigate the competitive market successfully and show up, stand out, and get chosen.

Meghan finds great fulfillment in surpassing her clients' business objectives and making a positive impact on their lives. She attributes her success to the dedicated team that supports her in maximizing clients' successes and fostering enduring relationships. Growing up in a small town in Iowa with a population of 800, Meghan Gianatasio has spent the last 23 years living in Chicago, although she reluctantly calls the suburbs home now. Meghan pursued her college education at the University of South Florida and Northern Illinois University, a unique transition that sets her apart. Before joining CGI, she worked in a traditional advertising agency specializing in billboards and TV ads, collaborating with clients like The Chicago Cubs and Paul Mitchell with advertising budgets ranging from $500,000 - $20M. The opportunity to impact small to medium-sized businesses drew her to CGI, where she can positively influence their businesses and bottom line.

With 14 years of experience at CGI, Meghan Gianatasio has remained at the forefront of industry trends and has integrated innovative technologies to craft tailored marketing strategies for each client. Her expertise in digital marketing spans various areas, including video, SEO, social media, and data analytics. Inspired by her passion for marketing, which solidified during her studies in Psychology and Communications, Meghan thrives in the fast-paced and emerging technologies of the industry, relishing the opportunity to partner with clients and deliver impactful results.
