Tiger Safarov – Founder, Entrepreneur, and Builder of Things that Matter

Tiger Safarov’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2005, shortly after immigrating to the United States from Russia. With no English and few resources, he taught himself the language by singing along to Frank Sinatra during early morning commutes. Determined to build a future in his new home, he juggled multiple jobs while attending night classes at a local community college. By age 22, he launched Siegel Construction in Chicago while pursuing his degree in engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Siegel Construction quickly became a go-to design-build firm for dental and medical offices in the Midwest, known for its precision, professionalism, and understanding of clinical workflows. But in 2015, Tiger saw a bigger opportunity to support dental practices—not just in building their spaces, but in helping them run more efficient businesses.

That idea became ZenSupplies, a SaaS platform built to streamline the way dental offices order supplies. With the support of his longtime friend Scott Goldman and a small round of friends-and-family funding, Tiger launched the platform, hustled his way into early sales, and turned ZenSupplies profitable by 2019. What started as a simple idea grew into a movement—connecting practices with better pricing, real-time inventory visibility, and less time spent buried in supply closets or Excel sheets.

As the company grew, so did the vision. In 2021, Tiger began reimagining the future of procurement and inventory management in dentistry. This led to the birth of ZenOne, a next-generation platform combining the power of automation, AI, and smart integrations to help dental practices run leaner, faster, and with fewer mistakes. From launching the industry’s first real-time price comparison engine to building tools for bulk ordering, reorder forecasting, and even QR-based inventory control, ZenOne reflects Tiger’s obsession with solving real-world problems—not chasing trends.

Under Tiger’s leadership, ZenOne has grown into a trusted platform used by hundreds of practices across the country, with a strong product-led approach, rapid feature deployment, and a clear mission: to empower independent dental practices with the tools and technology to thrive in a DSO-dominated world.

Beyond Zen, Tiger hosts ZenOne Podcast—where he interviews thought leaders, clinicians, and innovators shaping the dental industry.
