Course Description

This course equips the dental team with the skills to capture high-quality digital photographs that enhance patient communication, treatment documentation, and clinical outcomes.

You will learn proper camera settings, retractor and mirror placement, and image capture techniques for pre-treatment, intra-treatment, and post-treatment documentation. Emphasis is placed on creating clear, consistent images of the teeth and oral cavity to support patient education, case acceptance, and interdisciplinary communication.

Shannon Pace Brinker, CDA
