Course Description
Anesthetizing symptomatic patients for endodontic treatment has always been one of the biggest challenges in dentistry. We will introduce comfortable and effective delivery methods of anesthesia administration along with appropriate tests to confirm the depth of anesthesia before starting the procedure. Physical strain on the doctor’s body has classically been a consequence of giving injections with a standard dental anesthesia syringe. In this video, we dive into different techniques of delivering anesthetic solutions while introducing technologies which serve to create a win-win for the patient and the doctor. New technology will be introduced that eliminates the physical strain on the doctor while providing maximally comfortable delivery of anesthetic solutions.
Learning Objectives
- Learn the most effective techniques and methods of anesthetizing a symptomatic dental patient for endodontic procedures
- Discuss appropriate tests to confirm anesthesia is profound before treatment is initiated
- Demonstrate how to manage intraoperative patient discomfort
- Demonstrate new technology that eliminates physical strain on the doctor’s body while delivering maximally comfortable injections
