Dr. Ben Alvarez enjoys the complexities that come with treating patients. The key to understanding complex cases lends itself to having a proper diagnosis. He believes in using conservative materials with conservative treatment philosophies to help repair, restore, and maintain his patients' smiles.
Dr. Alvarez’s treatment philosophy embraces the holistic approach of not just treating the “Hole” but the “Whole”. It's about treating the whole patient and meeting where they are at with comprehensive and conservative treatment options. When you look for the underlying causative process and identify it, it allows you to be proactive for your patients rather than solely dealing with damage that’s been done. Dr. Alvarez utilizes modern technology with a high focus on customer service to create a “High Tech, High Touch” practice that allows him to utilize the technology to offer the most conservative, least invasive, and best long-term options for his patients.
Dr. Alvarez graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, College of Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Alvarez is a recognized Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is actively involved with the Missouri Academy of General Dentistry and has served as a past Board Member as the Continuing Education/PACE Coordinator. Dr. Alvarez enjoys lecturing on CAD/CAM, Patient Diagnosis, and CBCT. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others both around the Southwest Missouri area and across the Midwest.
Dr. Alvarez believes that a reputation is something that still matters and strives to do his best to care for his community, having grown up in Southwest Missouri and actively practicing in that area since 2014. His practice, Artizan Dental Care, combines both the artistic side of dentistry as well as technology to create beautiful smiles every day.
