3D imaging provides clinicians with valuable diagnostic information that can ultimately be used to assess the risk for upper airway deficiency and temporomandibular joint instability. When these conditions are proactively addressed, patients can reap the rewards of improved overall health as well as a lower probability for restorative failures due to functional stressors. In this 1-hour webinar, Dr. Horowitz will discuss indications and protocols for imaging of these structures as well as how the clinician can use this information for more successful treatment planning.
- Learn the argument for imaging all patients to assess risk
- Examine indications for specifically imaging the airway and/or temporo-mandibular joint
- Interpret airway and temporo-mandibular joint images
- Learn how assessing airway and temporomandibular joint risk affects the treatment planning process
