Computer designed and machine manufactured dental prosthetics are changing dentistry. With the advent of CAD /CAM technology for complete dentures, clinicians will not only be able to treat a larger segment of removable patients, but also improve current complete denture services, along with expanding knowledge of facial esthetics and implant treatment skills. Dr. Cooper, a prosthodontist, began almost exclusively using digital processes for dentures more than 2 years ago, and has collected her own data from the treatment of more than 300 arches in both her specialty and general practices.
In this 1-hour presentation, Dr. Cooper will review what concepts and procedures have and have not changed with denture prosthetics in the virtual realm, preparation for clinical differences, selecting the right products for your patients, and how to begin on your own digital removable journey. Her unique systematic approach is useful for clinicians looking to renew or refine their removable skill set with important tips and tricks. This course is a must for all dental professionals who seek experience and firsthand insights to better understand the how and why of the digital dentures process.
