Dr. Jonathan A. Bernstein is Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology/Allergy Section at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and partner of the Bernstein Allergy Group and Clinical Research Center. He received his BA from Kenyon College in 1981 and his MD from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine in 1985.
Dr. Bernstein has published 250 peer reviewed articles in addition to numerous book chapters on a variety of relevant topics in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is the co-editor of the textbook published in 2014, Clinical Asthma: Theory and Practice. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Asthma and on the editorial board of the Journal of Allergy Clinical Immunology, Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Allergy Asthma Proceedings and Journal of Angioedema. He is on the medical advisory board of the HAEA organization, on the board of directors of the AAAAI Foundation and Interasma.
Dr. Bernstein has been voted “Best Doctor” in Cincinnati from 1999 to 2016 and has been ranked by US New and World Report as being in the top 1% of doctors in his specialty.
